About IWNZ

Inner Wheel New Zealand has over 1,000 members across four Districts from Whangarei to Invercargill and across the seas to New Caledonia. We are members of one of the world's largest women's voluntary service organisations, which boasts over 100,000 members in more than 100 countries.

Inner Wheel New Zealand is where women build genuine connections, take meaningful action, and make a difference in communities locally and around the world. We are women together, inspiring growth.

What do we do?

Inner Wheel New Zealand supports a wide range of local and national initiatives, from food drives and mental health support, to raising funds for families and education.

In 2025-2026, we contributed 56,200 hours to 307 charities and causes, giving over $279,000 — part of a global network of women doing the same in over 100 countries.

We help charities and other worthy causes to be successful.

We work as a team to create positive change in our communities, both in New Zealand and around the world. It's not just about giving back, it's about the joy and fulfilment we experience while working on projects that enhance the lives of others. We also have fun throughout the process, making it a truly rewarding experience!

IWNZ has over 30 Clubs where women enjoy connection and friendship with opportunities to organise and participate in local, national and international service projects. These projects encompass a wide range of activities, including providing hands-on support to charities, fundraising, and creating crafts for use by various charities and hospitals. Each club is responsible for selecting the projects and charities it wishes to support.
